The United Club Fly is a grab-and-go concept launched by United in November 2022, offering prepackaged food, snacks, and nonalcoholic drinks for travelers that may not have enough time to find a spot and grab refreshments in a full-service United Club. The Denver locations is the only United Club Fly in the United Club network, and is located in the B Concourse.

After my flight from Des Moines to Denver, I was walking to the United Club when I happened to pass the “Fly” location, giving me an impromptu opportunity to review this concept from United.

To enter, you must scan your boarding pass or one-time pass at an automated gate to enter. The lounge is actually roomier than expected, and has a coffee station offering made to order coffee.

Refreshments

Prepackaged snacks were offered in a pantry-style station, with an assortment of cereals, muffins, chips, and cookies. Other refreshments were also available, such as sandwiches, salads, and wraps.

There were also several different Coke products available. Behind the food station is also an area to get traditional drip coffee or espresso-based drinks like those you’d get in the full-service United Club.

Conclusion

The United Club Fly in Denver’s B Concourse is a neat offering for passengers that are on a time crunch. It is tastefully adorned with modern furniture that maintains the vibe we’ve been seeing from the newer United Clubs.

It is obviously small, and not intended to be a spot to sit and wait out a 2-hour layover. While there are areas to sit and wait out a layover, the concept is made for you to go in, have you get snacks or a refreshments, and get you out to your next flight.

Having seen it now, I would not recommend going out of your way to see this “space” if you have access to the full-service United Club. I also would not recommend using a one-time pass just to use the United Club Fly, as you’d get way more amenities at a United Club.
