I have not been paid by any entity in any way (financially, benefits) to write this VIPort Lounge Mexico City Felipe Angeles (International) review. Take precautions when traveling; please stay safe and consult local, state, and national authorities for guidance on traveling.
After checking out of Le Meridien Mexico City Reforma and a quick stop to visit family, I made my way to the new Felipe Angeles Airport north of Mexico City for my direct flight to McAllen on Aeromexico. While I wasn’t expecting to see any lounges, I was pleasantly surprised to find a lounge near my departure gate, with the Priority Pass logo visible, clear as day. This was my first time encountering a VIPort Lounge, so I was excited to see what this small refuge had to offer.

Atmosphere & Seating
The VIPort Lounge Felipe Angeles International .

Upon entering, the receptionist will check you in and verify your access method and boarding pass.

The main seating area is behind the reception and is well-spaced and comfortable. There are plenty of seating options, and the natural lighting really helps the lounge feel spacious.

The lounge is located in the middle of the terminal, so it is flanked by passengers walking on either side. During the day, it’s pretty hard to look in, but once inside, it’s easy to people-watch.
Food & Beverage

The lounge has some complimentary snacks and beverages, such as water, coffee, and chips.

The VIPort Lounge Felipe Angeles International also has an a la carte menu available for passengers looking for something more substantive.

There were breakfasts, salads, pastas, and more available.

They also had smaller plates, tacos, and burgers.

And there was also a desert and drink menu. All items on the menus were for sale in Mexican Pesos.
Wi-Fi & Connectivity
Complimentary WiFi was available but I didn’t get to try it.
Cleanliness & Facilities
The lounge was overall kept tidy and clean.

There are also restrooms in the lounge, which was a nice sight!
Amenities
The VIPort Lounge Mexico City Felipe Angeles International also has a spa service available.

I was unsure of where this would occur, but perhaps there’s another section of the lounge where they had treatment rooms? Pretty cool to see this on offer though! Appointments could be made via WhatsApp and more info can be gathered at reception, and all prices were in Mexican Pesos.
Final Thoughts & Verdict: VIPort Lounge Mexico City Felipe Angeles International Review
The VIPort Lounge Mexico City Felipe Angeles International is a small lounge at the newer Mexico City Felipe Angeles International Airport. The best description is calling it “small but mighty.” That being said:
- Is it worth arriving early to visit this lounge? Probably not. While this is a great little lounge, I generally wouldn’t seek to spend too much time at this airport. The premium food and drinks require payment, so ultimately this is a nice spot to sit away from crowds, but not nice enough to justify anything more than 30 minutes, in my opinion.
Overall Rating: 7.75/10
