I have not been compensated in any way (financially or otherwise) to write this Aspire Lounge Copenhagen review. Airport, airline, lounge, hotel, and loyalty program policies may have changed since the time of writing.

Following my stay at the Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen, I made my way to Copenhagen Kastrup airport for my SAS Premium Economy flight to Boston. I tried lounge hopping, but I only made it to this Aspire Lounge and the SAS Lounge.

Atmosphere & Seating

Upon arriving, you will present your boarding pass and entry method to the front desk and will be allowed in.

There was plenty of seating throughout the lounge, although most of the spots were already taken by families and other travelers.

Aspire Lounge Copenhagen seating

That leads me to the next point, it is a pretty busy lounge.

There are several different circular sofas around the lounge that seemed comfortable, but of course they were all taken.

Oddly enough though, there were several boxes just laying around the lounge, which made it feel like they were in the middle of packing things or just didn’t finish it before they opened.

Food & Beverage

The Aspire Lounge Copenhagen had a selection of food on hand, including salads and vegetables.

Aspire Lounge Copenhagen breads

They also had breads and pastries.

And a minestrone soup.

They also had coffee machines and teas available.

There were also liquors available, a Carlsberg tap, and a Coca-Cola dispenser.

There was also another lone and bare beverage station.

Wi-Fi & Connectivity

Complimentary Wi-Fi was available, but I didn’t get to try it out on my short visit.

Cleanliness & Facilities

The lounge was not all that clean. Considering that there were several boxes around the lounge, it really made it feel like the space doubled as a storage area.

Amenities

The Aspire Lounge Copenhagen does offer a smoking lounge.

Verdict: Aspire Lounge Copenhagen Review

The Aspire Lounge Copenhagen is a spot to get away from what can become a very busy terminal, but truly it might not be all that much better inside the lounge. The food isn’t worth a detour, and honestly, with all the packing boxes around and lack of seating, I would’ve been upset paying to enter this lounge. That being said, I’m sure it is better during other times of the day, but it just simply didn’t impress me one bit.

My understanding is that this lounge is currently (as of 10/2025) closed for renovations, and is expected to re-open in December 2025, so we’ll see if it improves by then.

Overall Rating: 6.75/10
