I have not been paid by any entity in any way (financially, benefits) to write this Four Points by Sheraton Bogota review. Any airport, airline, lounge, hotel, and or loyalty program policies may have changed since then.
With a return to Bogotá, I managed to book another solid Marriott Bonvoy hotel: the Four Points by Sheraton Bogotá. These hotels further highlight the discrepancies between U.S. properties and international properties operated under the same name.

Nights Stayed: 3 nights

Overview
Built in 2014, this hotel features 124 rooms across 12 floors. Located in the Chico area of Bogotá, it is in a well-located part of the city, making it easier to get to nice parts of Bogota. The hotel has a fresh, modern feel and solid amenities. While this is a Four Points by Sheraton property, it is franchised by GHL Hotels, a large hotel chain with properties under different brands across Latin America.
Arrival & Check-In
The check-in process at the Four Points by Sheraton Bogota was straightforward and seamless. I presented my passport and credit card and was promptly checked in and directed to the elevators.
Room & Features

My room for this stay was 714, an executive double guest room with two beds.

The room looked modern and refreshed, with a good setup. Along the wide desk, closer to the door, you could find a built-in luggage rack.

On the desk, you can find a room service menu, which a bilingual menu.

Next to the luggage rack, you could find an in-room coffee bar, with a minibar under.

Next to the coffee station, you’ll find a closet, with an ironing board, an iron, a safe, a robe, and a laundry bag with a laundry service menu.

The restroom was pretty standard, with a walk-in shower, a toilet, and a spacious area for toiletries. The lighting was fair, and the water pressure was fine.
Dining
The Four Points by Sheraton Bogota has one restaurant on site called
S6IS | LADO2. Here, you’ll find breakfast in the mornings, lunch and dinner service, and it is open Monday to Thursday from 6:00AM to 10:30PM, Friday and Saturday from 6:00AM to 11:00PM, and Sunday from 6:30AM to 10:00PM.

The breakfast was fantastic, offering plenty of traditionally Western dishes and some traditional Colombian staples. They had hot items on offer, and also had made-to-order items, such as omelets, eggs, etc.

They also had plenty of breads.

And jams, purees, spreads, etc.

They also had cereals, fresh fruits, and yogurts.
Amenities & Facilities
The Four Points by Sheraton Bogota has several amenities available, which include laundry services, a gym, business center, and a supposed lounge that I could not find/access.
Fitness Center

The fitness center had several cardio machines.

With free weights and some yoga balls for stretching.

There were also wipes, towels, and a water station available. While water is pretty cheap in Bogota at any convenience or corner store, free water is usually available at hotel fitness centers.
Outdoor Space

The Four Points by Sheraton Bogota also had a nice outdoor space where people could take in the outdoors and chat.

I’m not going to say it’s an insanely lovely space, but it’s nice to walk out on a rooftop.

The view isn’t to die for, however.
Location & Accessibility
The Four Points by Sheraton Bogota is located in the Chico/Chico Norte area of Bogota. It is very well situated for folks looking to be closer to some of Bogotá’s exciting aspects, such as its dining and nightlife scene, while still in a quiet area. The best part for me is that while this is a Four Points property, it surpasses some of the service you’d find at a Marriott or Sheraton in the U.S. without breaking the bank.
Value & Redemption
At $95 USD a night with the standard rate, plus complimentary breakfast, this stay was of great value, considering the quality of the hotel and its location.
Final Verdict: Four Points by Sheraton Bogota Review
The Four Points by Sheraton Bogota is a solid hotel for those looking to experience Bogota on a budget without dropping your standards. This hotel features modern rooms that provide you with everything you need. The breakfast is absolutely solid, with a very impressive spread, and the service overall is great from top to bottom. I’d easily recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Bogota.
Overall Rating: 8.6/10
