I have not been compensated in any way (financially or otherwise) to write this Lufthansa Panorama Lounge review. Airport, airline, lounge, hotel, and loyalty program policies may have changed since the time of writing.

After arriving from Paris Charles de Gaulle, I made my way to the Lufthansa lounges before going on to my next flight to Copenhagen. This brought me to this interesting lounge, the Panorama Lounge.

Atmosphere & Seating

Upon arriving, you will present your boarding pass to the front desk and will be admitted into the lounge if you are eligible.

First thing I noticed was how different the decor was in this lounge compared to the other Lufthansa lounges. Turns out, this used to be operated by Frankfurt Airport (Fraport) as a VIP lounge, so it isn’t exactly in line with Lufthansa’s traditional facade.

If anything, this lounge feels older, as if it was a classic or vintage lounge in an otherwise modern-feeling airport. Red carpet and wood paneling made it feel older than it was.

I was only in the lounge briefly, so I didn’t get a comprehensive look at the facilities, but there were several different rooms with seating that gave a private feel.

Food & Beverage

The Lufthansa Panorama Lounge had a several food stations, where you could get a variety of hot and cold food items, including beverages.

They also had cold items, such as cold cuts, desserts, and salads with vegetables.

There was a variety of hot foods available.

They also had breads available.

There were also beverage stations.

And you can’t forget the candy and snacks!

Wi-Fi & Connectivity

Complimentary Wi-Fi was available, but I didn’t get to try it out on my short visit.

Cleanliness & Facilities

The lounge was pretty clean, except since it was pretty busy, the restrooms needed a little bit of servicing.

Amenities

The Lufthansa Panorama Lounge offers four shower suites.

Verdict: Lufthansa Panorama Lounge Review

The Lufthansa Senator Lounge Paris could be a good spot to get away from what can become a very busy terminal in Frankfurt. The food also won’t blow anyone away, but it is of solid quality. That being said, it was quite busy when I arrived, and I even chose to use the restrooms over at the nearby Lufthansa Business Lounge instead. What this lounge does offer are some insane views of the tarmac and airfield, but given how busy it can get with folks that are eligible for the Senator and Business Lounges, it might be best to look for comfort elsewhere.

Overall Rating: 8.2/10
