Trip: MFE-AUS, Delta Sky Club Austin, AUS-DTW, DTW-BWI
After having a nice visit at the Delta Sky Club in Austin, it was time to hop on board an Airbus A320 to fly me up to Detroit as I made my way to Baltimore.

Coming back down to reality when it comes to the Main Cabin hard product, but the service was still very friendly and enjoyable. The aesthetic is also hard to beat!

Preflight
During my layover in Austin, I took the opportunity to lounge around at the Delta Sky Club, where I got a bite to eat.

Then, it was time to board my flight up to Detroit. Now, I am not an elite status holder with Delta, but I do have SkyTeam Elite Plus status with Vietnam Airlines thanks to my LotusMiles Platinum membership. That let me board with other SkyTeam Sky Priority folks.
Seat & Cabin
Today’s seat was 22A, a window seat located on the left side of the plane.

The cabin is in a 3-3 layout, with seat pitch being about 30 to 31 inches.

The legroom was definitely tight on this flight, as my knees were nearly touching the seat back in front of me. For reference, I’m 6’1″.

The cabin felt modern and fresh, with plenty of cold air circulating throughout the cabin as people were boarding.
Dining & Beverages
On the flight today I chose to get coffee and water. The coffee was fine, but nothing quite special. I also ended up taking the Biscoff, which is not pictured.

In-Flight Entertainment & Connectivity
Delta offers in-flight WiFi and entertainment onboard. The prices varied on the length of time you wanted a connection. I opted into the free hour connection via my T-Mobile plan.

An in-flight entertainment screen was also available, although it remained untouched throughout the flight.

Final Verdict: Delta Main Cabin Review
On this three-hour hop up to Michigan, I was reminded that not everything is absolutely perfect on Delta. The reduced legroom really highlighted this for me on the flight, reminding me that it pays to opt for extra legroom when available. That being said, the crew was absolutely lovely, even handing me a handwritten note after I had provided them with a bag of chocolates during boarding.

Overall, the flight was fine, the crew was fantastic, and the legroom was terrible!
Overall Rating: 7.5/10
