I have not been compensated in any way (financially or otherwise) to write this Ambaar Lounge Salvador review. Airport, airline, lounge, hotel, and loyalty program policies may have changed since the time of writing.
After a fantastic day at the beach in Salvador, it was time to fly out to Sao Paulo on an evening flight out of Salvador airport. I had no expectation of a lounge being present, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there was the Ambaar Lounge and it accepted Priority Pass.

The Ambaar Lounge Salvador provides a nice respite from the terminal, an although it isn’t the most premium lounge, it offers solid amenities.

Atmosphere & Seating
Upon arrival, you will approach a check-in desk located outside the lounge, where an agent will verify your eligibility to access the lounge. Afterwards, you’ll see that the lounge is long, with seating all around.

This evening the lounge wasn’t crowded, so there was plenty of seating everywhere. There are tables, lounge chairs, TV areas, and more.

They also had private desk areas to work.

And a workspace or conference room area that you could seemingly reserve.

There were also screens showing flight times and gates, and a child room.
Food & Beverage
Toward the end of the lounge, across from the egg chairs, there’s a food and drink station where you can find a variety of snacks.

The lounge featured both hot and cold snack options, such as a salad bar.

And some sort of carb station that featured rice and a pasta station. Not featured was my favorite station, which was filled with pão de queijos (cheese breads).
Wi-Fi & Connectivity
Complimentary Wi-Fi was available and worked well.
Cleanliness & Facilities
The lounge was fairly clean, although I had arrived after a small rush and they were a little slow to clean up.
Amenities
Shower facilities are available upon request, which is a great perk for any lounge. I did reserve one during my visit, which can be done by speaking to the check-in desk outside the lounge. They will provide you a key, and you can find the shower suites near the restroom.

The shower room was spacious and pristine. It featured a built-in luggage rack, sink, toilet, and walk-in shower. The lounge will provide towels and a small bar of soap, but that’s just about it.

Ambaar Lounge Salvador Review Verdict
The Ambaar Lounge at Salvador Airport was a welcome surprise. Although it isn’t a lounge I would recommend going out of your way for, it is a nice place to get away from the terminal and grab some complimentary refreshments.
