Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, serving as a vital link within Scandinavia and to destinations across the globe from their main hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. Today we were flying their A320neo in economy or “SAS Go” class up on a short hop to Stockholm.

Good economy class for the short-flight, but admittedly is very no-frills.

Preflight
This was the first portion of my trip from Copenhagen to London, and it started off with a fun boarding process via the rear doors, which was great for pictures and I suppose more efficient! Here you can see other passengers boarding via the jetbridge.

Seat & Cabin
SAS’s “neo” fleet is fairly new, clean, and comfortable with all the expectations of a Nordic interior cabin. The economy cabin, or “SAS Go” is laid out in the traditional 3-3 configuration. I will say that the legroom is reduced, and the seat width is 17.7″, and the seat pitch is 30.0″.

Dining & Beverages
SAS Go only has complimentary coffee and tea available. If you want water, or any other snack or beverage item, you’ll have to purchase it.

You can take a look at the Spring 2025 SAS onboard menu here:
Entertainment
SAS has wifi on board its aircraft, with access starting at 29 Danish krone, 39 Norwegian krone, 39 Swedish krone, 3,90 euros, or 800 EuroBonus points. This provides you with wifi access throughout the flight. If you are traveling in SAS Business or are a Gold or Diamond member, you can enjoy free surfing during the entire journey.

Each seat also has a functional USB charging port, which is great.
Final Verdict
Service on this flight was fine, and the crew were nice and efficient. I do think that too many airlines in Europe are trying to straddle the line between being a full-service carrier and a low-cost carrier. That is quite annoying, simply for the fact that I would have to pay money for water. Sure, I got coffee, and I appreciate that, but also charging for water is quite silly to me. All in all, for this short flight, a perfectly fine product.
Overall Rating: 7/10
