I have not been paid by any entity in any way (financially, benefits) to write this Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport review. Any airport, airline, lounge, hotel, and or loyalty program policies may have changed since then.
After expertly missing my flight to Washington Dulles despite being at the airport with plenty of time (enough time to explore the Avianca VIP Gold Lounge, the Amex Lounge Bogota, the El Dorado Lounge, and the Copa Club Bogota) due to a forgotten passport at immigration, I hastily booked a night at the Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport, which I had stayed at before in 2023.

Overview
Built in 2015, this hotel features 144 rooms across 9 floors. Located in the El Dorado airport area of Bogota, it serves as an airport hotel that is fairly difficult to navigate from if you wanted to explore the city of Bogota. However, it is a lovely hotel that has a fresh and modern feel and solid amenities. While this is a Courtyard by Marriott property, it is franchised by oxo Hotels, which is a large hotel chain in Latin America.
Arrival & Check-In
The check-in process at the Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport was straightforward and seamless. Since I missed my flight so late, the complimentary shuttle was no longer running to the airport, so I got an Uber. Upon arriving, I was promptly checked-in and directed to the elevators.
Room & Features

My room for this stay was 601, a superior guest room with two twin beds.

The room looked modern and refreshed, with a good setup.

On the desk, you can find a QR code which you can scan to see all the services and amenities the hotel has to offer.

Additionally on the desk were some minibar snacks, which you could consume for a charge.

Directly across from the desk, you can find a coffee machine, an ice bucket, mugs, glasses, and other like items.

Below the coffee machine, you’ll find a mini fridge.

On top of the coffee machine, you’ll find the in-room safe for valuables.

In the closet area near the restroom, you’ll find hangars, an ironing board, an iron, and a laundry service menu.

The restroom feels spacious and is pretty standard.

The restroom was spacious and pretty simple, featuring a walk-in shower, toilet, and plenty of vanity space.

Interestingly, this Courtyard uses the same products that are used at Sheraton hotels.
Dining
The Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport has one restaurant on site. Here, you’ll find breakfast in the mornings, lunch and dinner service, and it is open daily from 6:00AM to 10:30PM.

There is also 24 hour room service available, with a limited menu available from 11:30PM to 6:00AM. Although I didn’t order any room service on this stay, I did order back in 2023, and it blew me away for it being hotel food.

Amenities & Facilities
The Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport has several amenities available, which include the laundry services, the complimentary airport shuttle, and a gym.

Guest Laundry

The Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport has a laundry room available for guest use on the second floor. To operate the machines, you’ll have to go to the front desk and pay for the service, and in exchange they’ll provide you with detergent pods and tokens.
Additionally, the hotel has dry cleaning services available, which you can use by filling out the forms provided in the closet of your room and calling the front desk for laundry pick-up.
Gym

The Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport also a gym on site, which is pretty limited with a few stations available.
Airport Shuttle
The Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport has a complimentary shuttle that will take you to and from El Dorado airport. I’d just confirm with the hotel what times it operates.
Location & Accessibility
The Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport is located in the El Dorado airport zone of Bogota, which means it’s pretty secluded from the actual city. Traffic is generally funneled one way around the area, from the main highway toward the airport, then back out to the highway. Because traffic jams are so common, it is hard to efficiently move within the area, even if you’re trying to get away from the airport zone.
So if you’re considering a visit to sites in Bogota, I’d highly suggest booking a hotel in one of the city’s neighborhoods. For Marriott properties, I’ve stayed at the Fairfield Inn Embajada in the Tesuaquillo neighborhood and the Four Points by Sheraton in the Chapineiro neighborhood.
Value & Redemption
At $105 USD a night with the standard rate, plus complimentary breakfast, this stay was of decent value, especially for a last-minute and unexpected stay.
Final Verdict: Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport Review
The Courtyard by Marriott Bogota Airport is a fantastic if not premium hotel option for those with an overnight stop at Bogota El Dorado airport. This hotel features modern rooms that provide you with everything you need for an airport hotel. The breakfast, although not featured in this review (I had a very early morning flight), is absolutely solid, and the service overall is great from top to bottom. I’d easily recommend this hotel for anyone that has to stay close to the Bogota airport or has an overnight stopover.
Overall Rating: 8.2/10
