Singapore Airlines themed Monopoly game
I have not been paid by any entity in any way (financially and/or benefits) to write the following post.
Before heading into EVA Air’s Infinity Lounge, which you can read about in my review here, I headed into the Singapore SilverKris Lounge Taipei to see what was offered here for Singapore’s passengers and other Star Alliance Gold members.

Once you walk in you will be met by the front desk attendants, which were every friendly and invited me into the lounge after reviewing my boarding pass. When you get passed the front desk, you will see a quiet seating area that is secluded from the main seating area, giving it a sense of privacy.

Also, on your way to the main seating area, Singapore Airlines has put up a display that features some neat items of interest for us #avgeeks.

Once you get to the main seating area, you can really tell that the lounge is a little worn down, since it still look like its still in the previous two decades.

I headed over to the buffet area to review the food spread available.

I must say that the hot food options were actually quite tasty, although I was saving my hunger for EVA’s Infinity Lounge.

They also had Singaporean laksa and a chicken with mushroom soup. I didn’t try these soups, but people in the lounge seemed to have been enjoying them.

The lounge also had some Asian steamed buns and some pastries for dessert. I had one pastry, and it was quite good!

There were also cold items held in the fridge, such as water, fruits, chocolate milk, salads, and juices.
Verdict
This lounge has a decent food spread, and a decent amount of seating, but if you have access to the EVA Air lounges, I would recommend spending your time at those lounges. Furthermore, since it was getting close to the departure of a Singapore Airlines flight, the lounge was getting closer and closer to capacity, and seating became scarce. I personally think there is not only more space at the EVA lounges, but the food at the EVA lounges was also better. But if you are looking out for some Singaporean dishes before your flight, this lounge would be the place to find it.
Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed it, please share share share, and as always remember to keep living life one trip at a time!
