Built in 2021, this hotel features 120 rooms across 10 floors. Located in the Marly area of Chapinero, it is near quite a few bars, restaurants, and generally a younger and more lively scene.

Arrival & Check-In

The check-in process at the Ibis Budget Bogota Marly was quick and straightforward, which required my passport and credit card information. I was explained the amenities of the hotel, which highlighted the complimentary breakfast.

Room & Features

My stay for the night was in room 612, a standard room with one double bed.

The room was pretty cramped, which was expected. It somehow felt nicer than the Ibis RJ Botafogo I had seen earlier in the year.

It was featured a TV, a small stool, some hangars, a mirror, and these cutouts for what I assume are phones and personal items.

Right by the window was this compartment, that I honestly didn’t open up, but seems like it had some storage space.

The restroom was very basic and small but gave you the necessities.

There was a walk-in shower, which was nice.

Dining

The Ibis Budget Bogota Marly has one restaurant on site where you’ll have your complimentary buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to check it out, but if it’s anything like the breakfasts at the Ibis Rio de Janeiro Botafogo and the Ibis Styles in Sao Paulo, it’ll be absolutely solid.

Location & Accessibility

Located in the Marly area of Chapinero, it is located near several restaurants and bars, and an area that generally has a pretty good nightlife. This is a convenient location to stay at if you might be having a late night and don’t want to traverse the city.

Value & Redemption

At $45 USD a night with the standard rate, plus complimentary breakfast, I found this stay to be of incredible value.
