I have not been paid by any entity in any way (financially, benefits) to write this Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen review. Any airport, airline, lounge, hotel, and or loyalty program policies may have changed since then.
Following my trip in from Paris, I finally made it to my final European stop before heading back to the U.S., Copenhagen. As I have before, I stayed at the always reasonably priced Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen.

Hotel Info
Hotel Name: Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen
Location: Sydhavnen
Brand/Chain: Marriott Bonvoy
Nights Stayed: 1 night
Room Type: Moxy Queen Sleeper
Cost: $154.40/night
Status: Marriott Bonvoy Titanium
Overview
Built in 2019, this hotel features 226 rooms across four floors. Located in the Sydhavnen district of Copenhagen, it is a slightly removed hotel from the city center, but is close to bus and rail options to quickly get you into the tourist parts of the city.
Arrival & Check-In
The check-in process at the Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen was seamless. I was quickly checked in and provided a token for a complimentary alcoholic drink, which is a nice touch when you’re arriving at a property (alcoholic or not). If you do not drink alcohol, you can redeem the token for a mocktail.
Room & Features

The room can best be described as standard for a Moxy, as it has the same layout you’d find at the Moxy London Heathrow.

Storage isn’t really available, but some hangars and a luggage rack are provided. There is also a desk space with a pink ottoman where you can sit and work.

The restroom was essentially the same as the one I saw at the Moxy London Heathrow. Toiletries and space are limited at Moxys, so you’ll find towels under the sink, and a catch-all soap dispenser.

There was a walk-in shower here as well, but the water pressure was lacking.
Dining
The Moxy has Bar Moxy, the hotel’s main bar and restaurant. Here, they offer a buffet breakfast in the mornings, with certain items available to order throughout the day, and a grab-and-go option available 24/7.

I have to say that the breakfast buffet at the Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen has always been very impressive, especially their pork products. I typically am not a fan of bacon or sausage, but the ones served here during my three stays have been incredible.

They have scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, cereals, fruits, yogurts, cold cuts, salads, etc. It really is a lovely and comprehensive breakfast.
Amenities & Facilities
The Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen has a small gym on-site and games!
The Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen Gym

The gym is located on the ground floor and includes some free weights, a boxing bag, cardio machines, and other gym equipment.
Games
The Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen also has games available like its counterpart in London, although I didn’t have time to snap a pic of them. You can also ask the front desk for more games or items.
Location & Accessibility
Located in the Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen, it is pretty removed from many of the tourist attractions. However, there are plenty of easy rail and bus options nearby that can get you across the city. I would recommend getting a city pass for the duration of your stay so you can avoid some of the complexities with ticket verifications when riding the public transit systems.
Value & Redemption
At $154 for the night, it wasn’t the cheapest, but it was the cheapest option in the city for the night I was staying.
Final Verdict: Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen Review
The Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen has not disappointed me in the three stays I’ve had with them. I love staying here, in large part thanks to their affordability and breakfast. Also, the ease of getting in and out of the area makes it appealing, and it isn’t too far from the main road taking you to Kastrup airport.
Overall Rating: 8/10
