Overview
Built in 2001, the Ibis Styles SP Faria Lima features 180 rooms across 10 floors. It is located on Faria Lima, near the commercial and financial districts. It is a short Uber or bus ride to the mall and restaurant areas.

Arrival & Check-In
I arrived at about 11:45PM to check in, which meant that the night shift was running the process. I think it took a little longer than I expected, but I was eventually given my key and made my way up to my room.

Room & Features

My stay for the night was in room 209, which was considered to be a “standard apartment with one double bed.”

The room was a little wonky and quirky. It had an industrial vibe, which isn’t my favorite for a hotel room, but that was the hand I was dealt. The bed was comfortable enough, and at the end of the night, that’s all that matters. There was a desk area to work and a mini-fridge, which was nice to have. What I didn’t have in this room was a safe, or at least I couldn’t find it.

The restroom felt dated and wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was functional.
Dining
Like the former Accor hotels, the Ibis Styles SP Faria Lima had a comprehensive breakfast buffet. Their restaurant, QCEVICHE Faria Lima, seemed to be a solid restaurant in its own right, which was nice to see.

I didn’t get a chance to snap a ton of pics from the spread, but as has been the case throughout the trip, there were plenty of carbs tempting me.

There were cold cuts, fruits, scrambled eggs, sausage, and much more that I didn’t snap a pic of. There was also a coffee station with machines making espresso drinks.

Amenities & Facilities
The Ibis Styles SP Faria Lima is pretty lean when it comes to amenities, with none really being available.
Location & Accessibility
The Ibis Styles SP Faria Lima is situated in the Faria Lima area of São Paulo, offering a variety of restaurants and attractions nearby. It is also about a six minute walk from the Faria Lima subway station.
Value & Redemption
Since I neither booked this hotel nor spent any money on it, I can’t reasonably speak to its value. However, I can’t imagine it being too expensive.
Final Verdict: Ibis Styles SP Faria Lima Review
The Ibis Styles SP Faria Lima provided adequate accommodations for the duration of my stay in São Paulo. It isn’t my favorite hotel, ranking in the middle of the pack among the three Accor Group hotels I’ve experienced on this trip to Brazil. While the restaurant was great, the rooms themselves do not feel all that comfortable to me, knocking them down in room quality. It wasn’t as bad as the Ibis RJ Botafogo, but it was nowhere near as good as the Novotel Salvador Rio Vermelho.
Overall Rating: 7/10
