Next to the Brussels Airlines THE LOFT Lounge, you’ll find the Diamond Lounge. This lounge is operated by Brussels Airport and serves as a contract lounge for other airlines and lounge memberships operating at the airport. The Diamond Lounge took over the old SAS Lounge space, and having landed on Brussels Airlines from Copenhagen with time to spare before my next flight to Washington Dulles, I decided to tour this spot before going back to THE LOFT.

Access Policy

I had access to the Diamond Lounge thanks to my Priority Pass Select membership, thanks to my Amex Platinum. Other airlines contract this lounge, such as Iberia, Icelandair, KLM, and ITA.

Atmosphere & Seating

The Diamond Lounge has a nice atmosphere that’s calm and feels premium.

There are great views from the lounge, with various seating options throughout. Since I was taking a quick look, I didn’t choose to sit.

There were a good number of tables, and the lounge was tastefully decorated.

Sofa spaces were available for bigger groups.

There was defintely ample space!

Food & Beverage

I’ll admit that I believe the Diamond Lounge has a better food spread than the neighboring THE LOFT lounge. They had a menu that displayed their breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.

Since it was morning, breakfast fare was available, with cold cuts.

There was a bread and cereals area.

There was also a hot food area, that included omelettes, bacon, sausage, and beans.

I can, however, confirm that the crispy bacon was not, in fact, crispy.

Additionally, a coffee station was available.

And a self-serve alcoholic station.

There were also some fresh fruits and other snacks.

And some coolers with soft drinks.

Wi-Fi & Connectivity

Complimentary wifi was available.

Cleanliness & Facilities

The lounge was tidy and clean, but I didn’t get a chance to check out the restrooms.

Amenities

This lounge doesn’t offer many additional amenities; however, it is a solid lounge that is clearly catering to short-haul flyers.
